You can house up to 3 adults in a 29 gallon tank.

72° to 80° is the optimum tank temerature anything above 85° will stress the animals.

Never drop the tank humidity below 50% .

They should have several hours of 80% to 100% humidity each day.

Crested geckos can eat premade food, crickets and fruit baby food.

Cresties will drink water droplets from the side of the cage and decorations.

A small container of clean water should be kept in a cage at all times.

They store calcium in sacks in the roof of your mouth called endolymphatic sacs.

These small lizards are among the most handleable of lizards.

Make sure to handle your crestie no more than 15 to 20 minutes a day to avoid stressing the animal.

Cresties have the ability to drop their tail if threatened.

Most tail loss is caused by aggressive tank mates.

Eggs hatch after an incubation of 65 to 90 days.

Native to southern Caledonia.

Cresties were thought to be extinct until rediscovered in 1994.

Cresties will live 15 to 20 years.
